I was educated about the tree, and the condition of it, was told it did not necessarily need to come down, as it was a fairly strong tree, even though messy and close to the house. I did not feel as though I was being pressured so they could make a sale. I was quoted, very reasonably I thought, for removal and a cabling option. “We bought our home last year and it came complete with 2.5 acres of trees 🙂 It was a necessity to find a reputable company to come and evaluate our trees to ensure that there weren’t any that were going to fall or cause damage to our house during the windy season in Nashville. We were recommended [The Good Tree Company] and so grateful that they provided the tree care service at our house. They first came to do an evaluation and looked at our existing trees to make sure none had to be taken out. They identified a large limb hanging over our house and recommended that it be removed. They also found several trees in our back parcel that were diseased and needed to be removed. Lastly, we have two large walnut trees, one of which was leaning a bit too much and could fall with the wind, they recommended doing a brace / cable to the other tree. We were able to schedule the work during their slower December season. They came out for one day and did the entire amount of work in an 8-hour period. They were efficient but never cut corners.

I really, really appreciated that they were upfront about the price and they were not going to do work for the sake of doing it. If things were going to cost more, like hauling away limbs and tree trunks, they gave me the option to do so, or save money and put the debris in another area of our lot. Likewise, we have a beautiful magnolia tree in the front of our property. I had seen other magnolia trees be trimmed in a very ornamental fashion. We talked through the necessity of trimming the tree and that it wouldn’t be helping it to trim it in a certain way. Again, saving me time and money and not doing work for the sake of doing it. They really care about the health of the trees they are working on and not doing work that will compromise a tree’s health.

They did such a great job at our house, we recommended them to a neighbor who also used them for a large job at their house. They did the same great job there as well!
